Kharar: Three minor children were crushed to death after a speeding car hit them while crossing the road near village Khanpur of Kharar on Sunday morning around 11am.
As per the police, the three children were identified as Nikhil (14), Ritu (12) and Manvir Kumar (8). The three were crossing a road when a car from the Ropar side crushed them. They were rushed to civil hospital, Kharar where they were declared brought dead.

Ritu and Manvir were siblings, children of Gurpreet Kumar, and Nikhil, son of Simarjit Kumar, was their cousin. All were the residents of Bhukhari village of Kharar block. Police have registered a case under section 279 and 304 (a) against an unknown driver.
