Chandigarh: A day after Punjab BJP announced to remove 2020 Refrendum hoardings if the state government failed to do so, the US-based Sikh advocacy group Sikhs for Justice (SFJ) has dared the BJP to even touch the hoardings.
In a WhatsApp message circulated by it, the SFJ has threatened Punjab BJP leaders that they should prepare to face consequences if the hoardings were removed. The hoardings are about promotional campaign on the Sikh Referendum in 2020.
At a press conference at Chandigarh on Sunday, Punjab BJP's State Vice Presidents Harjit Singh Grewal and Iqbal Singh Lalpura, State Secretaries Vineet Joshi and Vijay Puri had termed the hoardings as a simister attempt to to disturb the peace and harmony of Punjab by Khalistani organizations like the SFJ.
“We cannot allow such anti national organisations to further Pakistan's agenda on Indian soil, if you cannot act; we will act and remove all the hoardings,” said the BJP leaders. They had asked the Amarinder government to remove these hoardings or else they would.
