Senior journalist K J Singh and his mother Gurcharan Kaur found dead at their residence in Mohali today. According to the officials, this is a suspected case of double murder. Both were resident of HN 1796 , 3B-2 Mohali.
KJ Singh worked as a news editor in Indian Express, Times of India and The Tribune. Many prominent journalists has worked under him. The president of Mohali press club Gurdeep Singh Benipal condoles his death. The entire media fraternity condoles the death of the senior journalist who was famous for his down to earth attitude.
Poonam Grewal, a freelance journalist who got training under him was shocked to hear the sad demise of KJ Singh and his mother. Talking to Rozana Spokesman, "He was a wonderful journalist who always taught us the right journalism and moreover, he was famous for his down to earth attitude."
Sukhchandan Singh, a Photo-Journalist in an English daily was his colleague during his posting in Times of India. He said that he is very sad as KJ Singh was a very nice person and was very helpful.
