KJ Singh’s Ford Ikon car, which was taken away by the assailants after the crime, has been seen in the CCTV footage at Landran, which means that after committing the crime, the criminals sped away in the car towards the Phase 3/5 light point from where they turned towards the Radha Soami Bhawan side.
According to the CCTV footage of the Phase 3/5 light point, the car was
being driven by a clean-shaven person wearing a white shirt.
“The CCTV footage from Landran is being scruitinised minutely to get
further leads, including the presence of other miscreants in the car,”
said the police.
Inspector General (Crime) Shashi Prabha Dwivedi, who is heading the SIT
in the case, said her team was working hard and was close to cracking
the case.
“Some acquaintances of the victims, along with some other persons, were
summoned and quizzed today. We are close to cracking the case, but some
facts are being verified,” said Atwal.
