Mohindra highlighted the number of cases of atrocities on dalits in the state like beating, forcibly taking possession of lands, rape, killing threats etc. In specific, he mentioned the cases of Kabar Wachha, Dule Wala, Hittar and Chak Saido Ke. He said that even in one case the case has also been registered at Mamdot on June 19, 2016 but no arrest has been made so far.
He pointed out that atrocities on dalits are increasing day by day and in case no check is put on this, they will be denied justice besides stagnating the development of this community. In most of the cases the SC/ST Act is not promulgated denying justice to such class.
