Barnala: Chief of one group of Nihangs, Baba Budha Dal was shot dead during midnight of August 21 and August 22 near village Kahne Ke in Barnala Distict.

Two unidentified masked assailants fired three bullets resulting on the spot death of the Baba . Police suspects the killing is the result of rivalry between two groups of Nihangs .
