Moga: Watching his daughter Harmanpreet Kaur hitting 171 not out in Derby, Harmandar Bhullar said that my daughter is better than any boy. With moist eyes, Bhullar remembers when Harmanpreet used to go Guru Nanak Dev Stadium to watch the boys playing cricket as she had love for the sport.

Passion for the game led to Harmanpreet to play cricket with boys and even she used to play with boys instead of girls. The blessing in disguise helped Harmanpreet to hone up her skills in cricket and she became strongest than other girls. She never missed her training and even the scorching summers didn’t stop her to play cricket.

The journey from Moga to the world’s prestigious cricket stadiums was not an easy task for Harmanpreet Kaur. Harmandar Bhullar is a clerk who works for a lawyer. The family saw many hardships due to the financial constraints but no obstacle can stop the daredevils to achieve their aim.

There is a saying that those create history are rarer still and she proved that. Playing against Australian cricket team in World Cup semi finals, she blasted 175 runs on 115 balls which is a world record.

Even the cricket legend Sachin Tendulkar congratulated Harmanpreet on her superb historical not out inning. Playing her maiden World Cup in Australia, she hit a 110 meter long six.
