Phagwara: Bahujan Samaj Party supremo Mayawati will visit Chandigarh on March 15 to address a rally of party workers, a BSP leader said today.

Punjab BSP chief Rashpal Singh Raju said the rally was being held to commemorate the birth anniversary of BSP founder Kanshi Ram.

Raju claimed over five lakh workers from Punjab will take part in it.

The rally will be a forerunner for the victory of BSP in 2019 Lok Sabha polls to make Mayawati the prime minister of the country, he remarked.

Attacking rival parties, he said the country should be "ridden of divisive forces represented by Bharatiya Janata Party and Congress".  PTI
