Phagwara: A 29-year-old man committed suicide by jumping before a running train near Chaheru village near here, police said today. Government Railway Police in-charge Pawan Kumar said the deceased Hari Singh belonged to Jalandhar.

Phagwara: A 29-year-old man committed suicide by jumping before a running train near Chaheru village near here, police said today. Government Railway Police in-charge Pawan Kumar said the deceased Hari Singh belonged to Jalandhar.

Hari yesterday jumped before the Malwa Express coming from Jalandhar side. The cause of the suicide was not known, he said. The body was handed over to the victim’s family after postmortem at local civil hospital today, he said.PTI
