Even the UT Administration issued a released in this regard on July 29. However, the boy played a prank and spread the false news of his hiring in Google. The internet giant informed in a report that it does not have any information about the Chandigarh student's employment at Google.

The Chandigarh Administration has also ordered an inquiry that how come the officials issued a press release about Harshit’s achievement without any evidence. Who told them about Harshit’s hiring?

According to the press release, Harshit Sharma, who completed Class 12th from Government Model Senior Secondary School (GMSSS), Sector 33 in Chandigarh, had allegedly got selected after submitting posters through a Google "link".

A separate press release by the school claimed that Harshit will undergo an initial training for a year and he will also receive a stipend of Rs 4 lakh per month.

The release had even said he would be paid Rs 12 lakh a month as salary after a year’s training. Director, School Education, Rubinderjit Singh Brar has been inquiring into the matter.

The UT administration’s public relations department had released the statement that Harshit Sharma, who completed Class 12 this year from Government Model Senior Secondary School (GMSSS), Sector 33, bagged an offer from Google.

Harshit School Principal, Indra Beniwal revealed that Harshit informed her about the job offer but he didn’t show her the letter.

The authorities are stunned that why Harshit did this? Why he lied about the job offer?
