GST Assistant Commissioner killed in a road accident

Patiala GST Assistant Commissioner Arun Kumar Jalota (58) died in a road accident near Ghamrouda village on the Nabha-Patiala road.

The police said Jalota was accompanied by his wife Vinny Jalota on an Activa scooty, which skidded off the road and was hit at a tree.

The passersby informed the police and an ambulance also reached the spot. Seriously injured Jalota succumbed to his injuries at the hospital while doctors were treating his wife of minor injuries.
