Flights from Sahnewal to take off today

Finally, the flights from Sahnewal will take off from today i.e on Saturday. Flights will start under UDAN scheme of union government. Congress leaders thanks CM Amarinder Singh and MP Ravneet Singh Bittu regarding this matter .However the scheme was launched by Prime Minister Narendra Modi but the Congress leaders of Ludhiana takes credit of initiative.

The first flight of Air India would land here today at about 3 PM whereas at about 5 PM the 75 seater plane would go back for Delhi. MP Ravneet Singh Bittu said that the motive of starting this flight is to make flying more affordable for each and every citizen of Punjab. These flights are started under the UDAN (Ude Desh Ka Aam Nagrik).

The rates of the flights is Rs 2500 per seat where the distance is less than 500 km or one-hour. The flights will be firstly handle to Delhi airport and thereafter Mumbai and other countries.
