Barnala: Darbara Singh Guru's name is likely to be finalised for the post of Chief Secretary of SGPC. The sources said that the Badal family is keen to offer the post to their loyalist. Though the Badal senior and junior often claims that they don't interfere in SGPC affairs but in reaility they have full hold on SGPC.

Darbara Singh Guru is the strong loyalists of Badal family and he also contested the Vidhan Sabha election on SAD ticket but he lost the election. The former Chief Secretary Harcharan Singh had submitted his resignation from the post and the post is lying vacant.
