Chandigarh (G C Bhardwaj): The dinner program between the Chief Minister Capt Amarinder Singh with the all Congress legislators on July 16 night cancelled and the meeting will take place during breakfast on July 17. According to the sources, the dinner meet was scheduled for July 16 but now the meeting of voters (legislators) will be held on the day of Presidential elections.

Chandigarh (G C Bhardwaj): The dinner program between the Chief Minister Capt Amarinder Singh with the all Congress legislators on July 16 night cancelled and the meeting will take place during breakfast on July 17. According to the sources, the dinner meet was scheduled for July 16 but now the meeting of voters (legislators) will be held on the day of Presidential elections. 

The sources revealed that some legislators had problems so they were happily waiting for the dinner meet but now the meeting will be held in the morning just prior before the election so they missed the chance for healthy interaction with the Chief Minister. 

Sunil Jakhar, the President of Punjab Pradesh Congress Committee was especially invited in the dinner meet. The MLAs are upset as they complain that the officials in the departments hardly bother to hear them. Even they are being ignored in their concerned departments since the formation of the Congress government. It was decided that the legislators would be asked for the votes but during the meeting of Meira Kumar, Capt Amarinder Singh already told the legislators to cast their votes for Kumar.
