Chandigarh: Punjab Chief Minister Captain Amarinder Singh has expressed profound grief over the sad demise of Jathedar Takht Sri Keshgarh Sahib, Giani Mall Singh, who passed away on Tuesday after a brief illness.

Chandigarh: Punjab Chief Minister Captain Amarinder Singh has expressed profound grief over the sad demise of Jathedar Takht Sri Keshgarh Sahib, Giani Mall Singh, who passed away on Tuesday after a brief illness.

In a condolence message, the Chief Minister described Giani Mall Singh as a great Sikh scholar and a theologian, who was well versed with Gumat, Gurbani and Sikh tenets.

Sharing his heartfelt sympathies with the bereaved family, Captain Amarinder Singh prayed to the Almighty to give courage and strength to them to bear this great loss.
