
Chandigarh, September 1: Punjab Chief Minister Captain Amarinder Singh has greeted the people of Punjab, especially Muslims, on the eve of Id-ul-Zuha (Bakrid).
In his message, the Chief Minister said the festival promotes brotherhood, charity and empathy for the needy and the underprivileged. He exhorted the people to celebrate the occasion by reaffirm their resolve to further strengthen the spirit of peace and national integration.
Captain Amarinder appealed to the people to mark the festive revelry in a spirit of bonhomie, rising above petty considerations of caste, colour, creed and religion.
