CM greets people on Dussehra and Durga Puja

Chandigarh: Punjab Chief Minister Captain Amarinder Singh has greeted people on the occasion of Dussehra and Durga Puja, with a call for celebrating these auspicious festivals in a spirit of amity and brotherhood.

In his message to Indians across the world, the Chief Minister underlined the message of peace and harmony propagated by these festivals. 


The age-old tradition of celebrating Dussehra and Durga Puja, which mark the triumph of good over evil, shows us the way to live peacefully and virtuously in an environment of togetherness and tolerance, he added.

The Chief Minister appealed to the people to celebrate this joyous occasion with religious fervour and gaitey, rising above the parochial considerations of caste, creed and colour.
