CM greets people on baba sri chand birth anniversary

Chandigarh: Punjab Chief Minister Captain Amarinder Singh has greeted the people of Punjab on the birth anniversary of Baba Sri Chand ji- the elder son of Sri Guru Nanak Dev ji and founder of the ascetic sect of Udasis.

In his message on the eve of the auspicious day, Captain Amarinder Singh said that Baba Sri Chand ji, the great mystic saint, led humanity on the path of spirituality to achieve the ultimate goal of salvation.

The Chief Minister exhorted the people to cherish the underlying spirit of Baba Sri Chand's philosophy and follow his teachings. He urged them to take a vow on this occasion to foster goodwill, harmony, love, peace and brotherhood in the society, rising above the petty considerations of caste, color, creed and religion.
