Chandigarh schools, colleges to reopen on August 28: DGP Luthra

 Chandigarh: Chandigarh DGP Tejinder Singh Luthra on Saturday said the educational institutions of Chandigarh would reopen on August 28 as the situation in the wake of Dera violence on August 25 was under control. 

The deployment of paramilitary forces, however, would continue for another week, he added. Briefing the mediapersons here, DGP Luthra claimed the Dera followers were cooperating with the police and there was no apprehension of breach of law and order.
