BSF arrests father and son with heroin and Pak SIM

Ferozepur: The Border Security Force – BSF arrested father and son with heroin consignment, hiding in two water coolers of same design and colour in Amarkot Sector along the Indo-Pak international border.

Giving this information to the media persons, Raj Purohit DIG BSF said, BSF jawans recovered 3.600 kg heroin from the possession of father and son along with Pakistani SIM. The heroin consignment was concealed inbetween the inner and outer layer of plastic layer by removing the thermocol of two water coolers of the same colour and design.

The accused have been identified as Nimal Singh, 50 and Arjun, 26 of Narli village, 35 KMs from Tarn Taran.Nirmal had been cultivating the landon contrac basis near the Karma Chowki Border Out Post -BOP.

He further said, the farmers had taken these coolers across the fencing with intention to bring heroin consignment in the same design and colour cooler from Pakistan side which was kept hiding.

BSF jawans led by Commandant Rakesh Rajdan and others, thwarted the attempt to smuggle the heroin.
