Gurmeet Ram Rahim Singh, who was convicted in the sadhvi rape case on August 25 by special CBI court has been arrested and sentenced for 10 years of imprisonment on Monday.
Convicted Baba’s adopted daughter among the three revealed the secret that BJP had struck a deal to close the case. Honeypreet, the adopted daughter of Gurmeet Ram Rahim Singh told that BJP ditched them.
She claimed that BJP leaders Anil Jain and Arun Singh arranged a meeting of BJP President Amit Shah with dera head Gurmeet Ram Rahim Singh before the Haryana Vidhan Sabha elections.
Honeypreet further said that the BJP leaders asked him to help them to win 28 seats and the party would help him to rescue him from the rape case.
She explained that while making the deal, her father Gurmeet ram Rahim Singh said that he was implicated in a false case, hence, it would be the party’s duty to ‘rescue him’.
