Chandigarh: The Aam Aadmi Party has elected Sukhpal Singh Khaira as leader of opposition on Thursday.

Chandigarh: The Aam Aadmi Party has elected Sukhpal Singh Khaira as leader of opposition on Thursday. AAP leader and legislator HS Phoolka had quit the post as he wanted to fight the cases of 1984 anti-Sikh riots victims.

The Delhi leadership is reportedly not in favour of Khaira but they are likely to agree with the Punjab leaders' decision as the denial of position to the Bholath MLA may lead to division in the Punjab unit of the party.
