Now, when only 18 days are left for the first flight it would be a big task for the authorities to complete main road, drainage system, parking and lightning at the airport. Due to continuous rains water logging has also taken place at the area.

On December 16, Finance Minister Arun Jaitley laid the foundation stone of the airport. The SpiceJet company will fly the Delhi bound flight. A ticket will be available from Delhi to Adampur for Rs. 2500
