AAP dharna foiled, protesters detained on way to CM residence

The police foiled proposed dharna by AAP Punjab outside official residence of Chief Minister Captain Amarinder Singh here on Monday.

The police detained the AAP workers led by Bhagwant Mann and Sukhpal Khaira while they were heading to the CM's residence.

The dharna was to be staged on corruption issues.

Elaborate security arrangements were made by the police. Barricades were put up to prevent the protesters from reaching the CM residence.
