Gurdaspur: A student of a private school adbudcted by a group of armed youth but released after an hour due to police pressure. Interestingly, the victum Gurpartap Singh, a student of class 10 was abducted outside from his school as the accused suspected that Gurpartap might have told a girl to block the accused on Instagram.

Gurdaspur: A student of a private school adbudcted by a group of armed youth but released after an hour due to police pressure. Interestingly, the victum Gurpartap Singh, a student of class 10 was abducted outside from his school as the accused suspected that Gurpartap might have told a girl to block the accused on Instagram. 

The accused has been identified as Simran who use to chat on Instagram with a girl and Gurpartap was also added in the same group. The girl blocked Simran on Instagram and he suspected that Gurpartap asked her to block him. So, he abducted Gurpartap but released him after an hour due to police pressure. 

DSP Bhupinder Jit Singh Virk said that during the investigation it is found that the both victim and accused used to chat on Instagram with a girl. But, the girl blocked the accused Simran and he thought that Gurpartap had told the girl to block him. That's why Simran abducted Gurpartap but the accused later released him. The police investigation is on and the police have been searching the accused.
