As many as 32 businessmen were nabbed last night by the city police in a gambling raid on a five-star hotel, Radisson Blu, on the Ferozepur road. The gambling was on in a room on the fifth floor of the hotel.
The nabbed businessmen were reportedly from various cities of the region. The raid was conducted by the city police after it received a tip-off that a room has been booked by several businessmen in the hotel, where gambling on a large-scale was going on. The police have also seized Rs 32 lakh from the businessmen.
