Punjab News: Punjab chief minister Bhagwant Mann on Monday said that Sub-Tehsil Banur in the SAS Nagar district will be upgraded and established as a Sub-Division/Tehsil Banur.
The chief minister gave his approval for the upgrade earlier today in a cabinet meeting in Chandigarh. The chief minister made the announcement in a post on his X.

The main objective, he said, was to provide better facilities to the general public and to ease their difficulties. More people-centric decisions aimed at the state’s development will be taken in the coming days.
