Holidays Announced in connection with Rakhar Puniya Fair
AMRITSAR: The District Administration of Amritsar has made an announcement regarding the upcoming Rakhar Puniya fair, prompting the declaration of a holiday period. Government and private schools situated in Block Rayya -1 and Rayya -2, located in the Baba Bakala town, will remain closed from August 30 to September 1 due to Rakhar Puniya Fair.
Notably, The decision to grant these holidays aligns with the significance of the Rakhar Puniya fair, a traditional event that holds cultural and religious importance in the region. Recognizing the importance of maintaining the spirit of the fair and facilitating the participation of students and families, the Amritsar district administration has taken this step.
