Court has sent summons to Rana KP Singh under IPC SEC 500, 506

SRI ANANDPUR SAHIB: A Defamation case has been registered against former speaker Rana KP Singh in the court on Wednesday (March 29).

Notably, Former speaker KP Rana had issued false and baseless defamatory statements against cabinet minister Harjot Bains and his father from Sri Anandpur Sahib. After this, Sohan Singh Bains, father of Cabinet Minister Harjot Bains, filed a defamation case against him.

In this regard, the court has sent summons to Rana KP Singh under IPC SEC 500, 506 and ordered him to appear before the court on May 5.
