Chandigarh: Today the President of Punjab Navjot Singh Sidhu resigned from his post. Later the same evening another member from the Punjab Cabinet resigned. The Cabinet Minister of Punjab Raziya Sultana also resigned today late evening.

After the resignation of Raziya Sultana, her husband Former IPS Mohd Mustafa tweeted about the decision made by his wife, "SO PROUD OF MY WIFE RAZIA SULTANA FOR HER PRINCIPLED DECISION TO RESIGN IN THE BEST INTEREST OF CONG AND ITS LEADERSHIP, ON PARTICULAR RAHUL GANDHI, OUR BENEFACTOR."
