MOHALI: The Heavy rains, strong winds and hailstorms which erupted in different parts of Punjab in the last few days, caused huge damage to crops and properties. Meteorologist of Punjab Agricultural University Dr. Pavneet Kaur Kingra said that there is a possibility of light to moderate rain on March 30 and 31.

Dr. Pavneet Kaur Kingra, Head of Meteorological Department of Punjab Agricultural University, said that due to the Western Cyclone that has been active recently, the daytime temperature is lower than normal, while the maximum temperature was 26.4 degrees Celsius yesterday. While the normal temperature is 29.7 degrees Celsius. Similarly, today's minimum temperature was recorded at 14 degrees Celsius, while the normal temperature was 14.5 degrees Celsius. The Western Cyclone is developing once again in the coming days. Due to which there may be normal to moderate rain in Punjab on March 30 and 31. However, there is no chance of strong winds and hail.
