In his message, the Speaker observed that Bhagat Kabir's writings influenced the Bhakti movement and Kabir ji’s teachings even more relevant today.

He said that Kabir Ji's verses are also found in the Guru Granth Sahib. Bhagat Kabir ji's teachings inspire us to live as better human beings by shunning envy, greed, pride and hatred, and rising above the caste, colour, creed and religion.
