PRTC Issues Helpline Number to Resolve People's Complaints

PRTC officials will be available for immediate solution for complaints

PATIALA: Keeping in mind the convenience of passengers, the Pepsu Road Transport Corporation (PRTC) on Thursday launched a helpline number 95921-95923 for people to lodge their complaints and suggestions. PRTC officials will be available for immediate solution for complaints received on this number. These complaints will go directly to PRTC Chairman Ranjodh Singh Hadana and the four officers will deal with these complaints side by side.

On this occasion, PRTC Chairman Ranjodh Singh Hadana announced that electrical buses will be run in the city soon. For the convenience of people, these electric buses will run from old bus stand to new and new to old bus stand, apart from Punjabi University, Mahindra College, NIS Chowk, Fuhara Chowk, Rajindra Hospital, Sanauri Adda etc. The chairman said that this will save people from trouble and will also help in keeping the environment clean.

He further said that the bus stand of Patiala will be a role model for the entire Punjab. Solar panels are installed on its roof to avoid high electricity bills. Along with this, he said that for the convenience of passengers going away from the new bus stand, 30 buses have been operated on five different routes, which are making 135 rounds.

Under this, five buses are making 25 rounds from the new bus stand via Nanaksar to the old bus stand, Sanauri Adda and other routes at different times. Similarly, four buses are making 20 rounds from the new stand via Jhil Bypass to the old bus stand, Khanda Chowk, Dukh Niwaran Sahib, Hemkunt Pump. It was further stated that 45 bus counters have been constructed in the new bus stand, so that people can be saved from trouble.
