Chandigarh Carnival 2023 Day 1 Photos: The vibrant city of Chandigarh added stars on Friday as the much-awaited Chandigarh Carnival 2023 kicked off at Leisure Valley in Sector 10. 

The inauguration ceremony was attended by the Governor of Punjab and Chandigarh Administrator, who visited Leisure Vally as the Chief Guest with Guest of Honour, Member of Parliament, Kirron Kher. He set the tone for the Carnival by flagging off floats, officially declaring it open.

The Chief Guest immersed themselves in the festive spirit and explored vibrant exhibition stalls besides they also interacted with artists from various cities. They were also astonished with the display of Vintage Cars in the courtyard of the Govt. Museum and Art Gallery.

The opening night witnessed live performances by the Police Band of Himachal Pradesh, known for their appearances on Sony Color's Talent Hunt program and the Indian Ideal stage. They enthralled the audience with renditions of Bollywood and Himachali songs.

Likewise, an insightful session anchored by expert Samuel John unfolded in the auditorium of the Govt. Museum and Art Centre, shedding light on the unexplored wonders of Chandigarh Wildlife. Notably, the session will continue on November 25, 2023.

Along with the Governor of Punjab, Chandigarh Adviser, Nitin Kumar Yadav, Mayor  Chandigarh, Shri Anup Gupta, Secretary Tourism, Director Tourism, along with other esteemed officers and dignitaries also attended Chandigarh Carnival 2023 Day 1 and the photos of the same have also surfaced.

Meanwhile, the evening of November 25 promises a scintillating live performance by the renowned singer Kailash Kher, followed by Punjabi singer Babbu Maan on November 26. This year's carnival is said to be big.
