Dearness allowance at the rate of 6 percent has been Approved: CM Mann

CHANDIGARH: Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann has made a big announcement for government employees. The State Government have released one installment of dearness allowance. Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann shared the information in this regard on Twitter. Dearness allowance at the rate of 6 percent has been approved by the Punjab government from 1st July 2015 to 31st December 2015.

Chief Minister Mann said that the outstanding amount of dearness allowance at the rate of 6 percent in the said time frame is Rs 356 crore. This amount has been approved by the Punjab government. CM Mann gave information about this in a tweet and wrote that what he says, he does.

Chief Minister Mann tweeted, "A Major Gift for Government Employees....Today we have released one installment of dearness allowance arrears of government employees. Approved the due amount of dearness allowance arrears from 1 July 2015 to 31 December 2015 increased at the rate of 6 percent to Rs 356 crore. What we say, we do."
