Punjab has reported two deaths due to the Covid-19 and 76 new cases taking the total number of cases to 3,691 and death toll due to Covid-19

Punjab has reported two deaths due to the Covid-19 and 76 fresh cases taking the total number of cases to 3,691 and death toll to 85.

Jalandhar reported the biggest single-day spike so far as it recorded 76 fresh cases, taking the district's case tally to 494. 

As per the reports, Moga and Ludhiana each has recorded a death due to Covid-19.

A 33-year-old Covid-19 patient died in Ludhiana. The patient was a resident of Barnala.

The other death was of a 50-year-old resident of Moga, who had tested positive for coronavirus. He died while he was under treatment for liver disease.
