Punjab Vigilance Bureau is probing the Irrigation Scam

CHANDIGARH: The Punjab and Haryana High Court has issued notice to the Punjab government, the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) and the Vigilance Bureau while hearing a petition seeking a CBI probe into the Irrigation Scam.

Currently, the Punjab Vigilance Bureau is probing the irrigation scam. It is worth mentioning here that a case was registered against Gurinder Singh in 2017 in connection with the irrigation scam. He was arrested. After the AAP government came to power, former ministers Sharanjit Singh Dhillon, Janameja Singh Sekhon, besides officers Sarvesh Kaushal, KBS Sidhu and Kahan Singh Pannu have been questioned in this matter.
