Kangana, known for her outspoken views, addressed the matter during an interview with journalist Shubhankar Mishra, amidst the release of her film Emergency.

In the interview during a podcast with Shubhankar Mishra, Kangana referred to Diljit's involvement during the farmers' protests, stating, "He was the main person. He was at the forefront of saving them, to supporting them during the farmers' movement. Those who were creating a ruckus, he was at the forefront to save them.”

When asked about her desire to meet PM Modi, Kangana candidly shared, “What is there to be ashamed of? I don't feel ashamed of the fact that the PM did not meet me but met Diljit. For him, everyone in the public is equal.”

Kangana clarified that while she has not had an opportunity for an in-depth discussion with the Prime Minister, she has great admiration for him. "I was not disappointed; the truth is that I never met him. Maybe I met him once and said namaste but never had a proper conversation," she said.

Kangana also mentioned that some of her friends, including lyricist Manoj Muntashir and veteran actor Anupam Kher, have had meaningful discussions with the PM, and she hopes to do the same someday. "I am a big fan of the Prime Minister and I want to talk to him, share notes, and discuss his views on art," she added.

Kangana also addressed other interactions PM Modi has had with Bollywood personalities, including the Kapoor family's meeting during the Raj Kapoor Film Festival. She expressed her continued enthusiasm for the opportunity to engage with the Prime Minister.
