Today, Secretary, Government of India, Ministry of Water Resources, River Development and Ganga Rejuvenation,

Chandigarh : Today, Secretary, Government of India, Ministry of Water Resources, River Development and Ganga Rejuvenation, Sh. U.P. Singh launched Website on "First International Conference on Sustainable Water Management" to be organised by BBMB in December, 2018. Secretary,

MoWR,apprised that the delegates and experts from India and all over the World will participate in this conference & the experiences of these learned experts will be very beneficial for the Sustainable Water Management. He also told that experts from India & also from all over the world will share their latest technologies to build an accurate model on sustainable water management.

The main aim of the conference is to bring advancement in water management system to further reduce flood and draughts all over the Globe. After that Sh. D.K. Sharma, Chairman, BBMB apprised Secretary, MoWR about the creation of new 'climate change cell' in BBMB and through power point presentation he showcased recent work of the climate change cell. On this occasion senior officers of BBMB were present.
