A dedicated helpline number, 1076, has been established for residents to avail themselves of this scheme.

Chandigarh: The people of Punjab no longer need to travel to Chandigarh for government services, as the Punjab government is now reaching out to citizens through the 'Bhagwant Sarkar Tuhade Dwar' program, addressing complaints on the spot. This initiative not only helps resolve citizens' issues but also serves as an effective platform for gathering grassroots feedback on state government policies.

To enhance public convenience, the Punjab government has issued a No Objection Certificate (NOC) for the registration of plots up to 500 yards, abolishing the previous requirement for such registrations. This change provides significant relief to the residents.

The 'Bhagwant Sarkar Tuhade Dwar' scheme is designed to provide 43 identified civic services directly to citizens, with 99 percent of these services related to administrative functions. A dedicated helpline number, 1076, has been established for residents to avail themselves of this scheme. Citizens can also schedule appointments at their convenience by calling this number. Under this initiative, government employees will visit residents' homes to provide information and facilitate their government-related tasks, ensuring that work is completed efficiently within days.

Special camps are being organized throughout the state to maximize service accessibility, particularly for residents in rural areas. These public welfare camps not only address citizens' issues but also promote the various welfare schemes implemented by the government, ensuring that eligible citizens benefit from them.

In line with the Punjab Government's directives, citizens' issues are addressed every Thursday from 9:30 AM to 1:30 PM at the Deputy Commissioner's Office, ensuring timely resolutions. Previously, residents had to travel to Chandigarh for assistance, but now the Chief Minister's Support Center has been established at the District Administrative Complex, allowing citizens to resolve their problems locally.
