Punjab Amritsar schools Bomb Threats Latest News:  Threatening email received on the official email ID of a government school in the village Meharbanpura, Amritsar.

An atmosphere of panic prevailed in the area after the threat was received.

The threat to blow up schools with bombs was sent via email.

The email stated that the singing of the national anthem in schools should be stopped.

Police reached the spot and began investigating the matter.

Today is the first day government schools have reopened in Punjab, due to which the number of children present in schools is comparatively low.
