Farmers Protest 2024: 50 percent less Diesel, 20 percent less Gas dispatched to Punjab

Farmers' unions have started to march toward Delhi as a part of their agitation to emphasize their demands.

Diesel and Gas in Punjab amid Farmers Protest 2024: Due to the ongoing farmers' protest at the Shambhu border, 50 percent less Diesel and 20 percent less Gas were able to be dispatched to Punjab, the Government sources revealed on Tuesday. 

It is pertinent to mention that over 200 farmers' unions have started to march toward Delhi as a part of their agitation to emphasize their demands. However, the farmers's march to Delhi was stopped at the Shambhu border due to the blockade of roads by the Haryana police.

In the meanwhile, several protesters have been injured after the police resorted to tear gas shells on the protesters.
