Entire process should be completed within one month, Says Education Minister Bains

CHANDIGARH: About 700 ETT teachers posted in primary schools of Punjab will no longer have to wait for promotion. Punjab School Education Minister Harjot Singh Bains has directed all District Education Officers (Elementary Education) of the state to promote ETT teachers as head teachers.

The minister directed that the entire work should be completed within one month and if these development works are not completed in any district of the state, then there will be the responsibility of the district education officer. According to Education Minister Harjot Singh Bains, the Elementary Directorate of Punjab will issue only one common approval for all the districts of the state regarding these promotions, which will make the whole process easy and timely.
