Sangrur, Punjab: In a tragic accident, a 12-year-old boy died in Sangrur while attempting to fly a kite from a three-storey building on Sunday.
The deceased has been identified as Harjot Singh, a Class VI student from Tungan village in Sangrur.
The child died after falling from the three-storey building. He was rushed to Amar Hospital in Patiala; however, he died on the way.
A relative told the media that during the winter vacation, children often insist on flying kites, and Harjot Singh was doing the same.
