Breaking News: Two members of 'Rohit Godara' gang shot in police encounter

Two gang member of infamous Rohit Godara gang shot in crossfire.

Two members of the Rohit Godara gang were shot during a crossfire with the police in Punjab’s Ludhiana district on Monday.

The encounter took place in the Haibowal area of the district. Multiple rounds were fired from both sides during the exchange of fire.

Police recovered two illegal weapons and several rounds of ammunition from their possession.

The gangsters opened fire at the police, following which the police also fired in self-defence, as per information received.

During the exchange of fire, both gangsters were seriously injured. The Police Commissioner reached the spot following the incident.
