Applicants should be permanent residents of the state of Punjab: Dr. Baljit Kaur
CHANDIGARH: The Punjab Government headed by Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann is constantly striving to provide employment to the youth of the state. Under the same series, Applications are invited from the graduates of Punjab State for free coaching for Entrance Test for Bank Probationary Officer (PO) and Assistant Administrative Officer (AAO) (LIC/GIC)-2023.
The Minister for Social Justice, Empowerment and Minorities, Dr. Baljit Kaur, who gave information in this regard, said that the applicants should be permanent residents of the state of Punjab and related to Scheduled Castes, Other Backward Classes and Minority Communities (Muslim, Sikh, Christian, Buddhist, Parsi and Jain). Those who have a minimum educational qualification of graduation can avail the benefit of this scheme. Annual income of the candidate's families from all sources should not exceed Rs 3 lakhs for admission.
The Cabinet Minister said that the candidate will be selected on the basis of objective type test of General English, Quantitative Aptitude, Reasoning and Current Events subjects, which will be conducted by Ambedkar Institute of Careers Ed Courses, Phase-3-B-2, SAS. It will be held at Mohali on June 07 at 10:00 am. The duration of this test will be one hour.
He said that under this scheme implemented by the Punjab government, the candidate can apply for bank P.O. and A.O.O. (LIC/GIC)-2023 Entrance Test Free Coaching Course for 2023. They should submit their completed applications, along with self-attested copies of all necessary certificates, to the Principal, Ambedkar Institute of Careers and Courses, Face-3-B-2, SAS Nagar (Mohali) by 24th May 2023.
