CM Bhagwant Mann News: Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann on Sunday launched an attack against the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), saying that the party is engaging in the “politics of religion and hate.”
In a statement, CM Mann said that the BJP party committed a vile act by adding "provocative" sub-titles to a video of AAP leader and former Delhi Chief Minister Atishi.
“We will not tolerate the BJP's efforts to incite and spread hate and division among people in the name of religion,” CM Mann affirmed.
The Chief Minister and AAP leader underscored that such alleged actions could never break the mutual brotherhood and shared harmony among the people of Punjab.
CM Mann made the statement while commenting on Atishi’s remarks made on the floor of the Delhi Legislative Assembly, where she was alleged to have spoken against the Gurus of the Sikh religion.

However, CM Mann, citing a forensic investigation, clarified that she did not use the word “Guru” in her speech at all and claimed that it was the BJP that added the word “Guru” in the subtitles of the video of her speech.
CM Mann claimed that the BJP has carried out similar acts in the past as well by “dubbing” content different from what was actually said in the video.
He also alleged that some news channels have been involved in similar instances.
He condemned the BJP’s alleged act of adding the word “Guru” to Atishi’s video in the strictest terms, adding that there is no recording or proof of Atishi making such a comment against the Guru, as claimed.
