‘I-Hariyali’ Mobile App Started For Apple I-Phone Users

“The Punjab Government has initiated ‘Ghar Ghar Hariyali’ campaign to ensure a clean and green environment for posterity and under the same campaign, 34 lakh saplings of different types have been distributed free to the people of the State.” Divulging this, the Forest Minister, Punjab, Mr. Sadhu Singh Dharamsot has said that as per the ‘i-Hariyali’ app started by the Forest Department, 3,40,000 orders have been booked. He also said that 14 lakh saplings have been disbursed free of cost during the course of 3 months through the ‘i-Hariyali’ android mobile app.

It is worth mentioning that by downloading this app any resident of Punjab can make online booking for getting 25 choicest saplings. The minister further said that ‘i-Hariyali’ mobile app has been started for apple mobile phone. This app was recently launched by the Chief Minister, Captain Amarinder Singh. Stating more, Mr. Dharamsot said that this campaign of planting saplings is continuing with immense success throughout Punjab which would yield good results in future. This campaign would contribute majorly towards increasing green cover in the State as well as providing clean surroundings to the people.
