MOHALI: A Horrifying Accident unfolded in Dhakoli, Mohali district, as a speeding Scorpio car, driven by a minor, collided with a woman walking along Mamta Enclave Society around 12:30 pm. The impact of the collision left the woman with severe injuries, necessitating her immediate admission to the Civil Hospital in Dhakoli. Subsequently, doctors at the hospital referred her to GMCH Sector-32 in Chandigarh for further medical attention.
Local authorities have launched a thorough investigation into the incident, with the car's driver being identified. However, the name of the accused will be disclosed by the police only after recording the woman's statement, as part of standard procedure in such cases.
