MOHALI: A Horrifying Accident unfolded in Dhakoli, Mohali district, as a speeding Scorpio car, driven by a minor, collided with a woman walking along Mamta Enclave Society around 12:30 pm. The impact of the collision left the woman with severe injuries, necessitating her immediate admission to the Civil Hospital in Dhakoli. Subsequently, doctors at the hospital referred her to GMCH Sector-32 in Chandigarh for further medical attention.

Local authorities have launched a thorough investigation into the incident, with the car's driver being identified. However, the name of the accused will be disclosed by the police only after recording the woman's statement, as part of standard procedure in such cases. The incident has garnered significant attention, with a video capturing the accident going viral.

The Video Footage portrays a white Scorpio vehicle hurtling at high speed, striking the pedestrian woman and colliding with other stationary vehicles in the vicinity. Onlookers at the scene attested to the severity of the impact, describing it as a forceful collision.

According to available information, the Scorpio involved in the accident belongs to a scrap dealer and was being operated by his minor son. The incident underscores the importance of adhering to traffic regulations and ensuring that vehicles are operated responsibly, especially when minors are behind the wheel.
