Who is Kulwinder Kaur, the CISF staff who slapped Kangana Ranaut? Ever since the news of Kangana Ranaut's slap incident at Chandigarh airport surfaced on social media, people started looking for information about who slapped Kangana and what is her name. Well, her name is Kulwinder Kaur, and she is a CISF jawan. 

A woman CISF constable posted at the Chandigarh Airport on Thursday allegedly slapped Kangana Ranaut who recently won Lok Sabha Elections 2024 from Himachal Pradesh’s Mandi.

The provocation behind the slapping incident is said to be Kangana Ranaut’s controversial comments on Punjabi women who were part of the farmers' protest.

In a video making rounds on social media, the CISF jawan can be heard saying her mother was also among the protesters.

Who is Kulwinder Kaur, the CISF staff who slapped Kangana Ranaut?

The 35-year-old constable hails from Sultanpur Lodhi in Punjab and was posted at the Chandigarh Airport for the last two years. Her husband is also a CISF personnel. Likewise, her brother, Sher Singh, is a farmer leader and is the secretary of the Kisan Mazdoor Sangharsh Committee.

Notably, Kulwinder Kaur has two children and she has also been detained. In the meanwhile, the CISF has formed a panel to investigate the alleged incident.

It has been reported that Kangana Ranaut was waiting to pass the CISF officer when the officer came towards her and hit her in the face. "When I completed the security check and was waiting to pass the woman security officer, she came towards me, hit me, and started abusing me. When I asked why she did it, she said she supports the farmers," she said in a video message after the incident.
